THE HOUSE RULES.
These Terms and Conditions explain the agreement between you and WHITE HOT POKER when you use whitehotpoker.co.uk or place an order. They are written to be read, not hidden behind the rail.

1. About WHITE HOT POKER
WHITE HOT POKER is operated by Alan Harding, trading as WHITE HOT POKER, from 26 West Parade, Warminster, Wiltshire, BA12 8LZ, United Kingdom.

2. The website
We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website when reasonably necessary. We try to keep product, price and availability information accurate, but may correct genuine errors. Nothing on the website is intended as gambling advice, and buying our clothing does not enter you into any game, tournament, prize draw or gambling activity.
3. Products
WHITE HOT creates the designs and sells the finished products. Clothing is printed or embroidered to order in the UK by a specialist production partner and may be sent directly to you.
We take care to display colours and artwork accurately. Screens, garment dye batches, fabric texture and the production process can produce reasonable differences in colour, scale or placement. These normal variations do not affect your rights where goods are faulty or materially different from their description.
Images are illustrative. The product description, selected colour and selected size form part of your order. Please check them before paying.
4. Ordering and contract formation
Placing an order is an offer to buy. You will receive an automated acknowledgement, but a contract is formed only when we accept the order by confirming dispatch or otherwise expressly accepting it.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where payment is not authorised, a product is unavailable, delivery is not possible, the price or description contained an obvious error, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If payment has been taken, we will refund it.
You must provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information and must be authorised to use the chosen payment method.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected on the website. Applicable taxes and delivery charges are shown at or before checkout. International customers may also incur import duties, taxes or carrier fees imposed by their country unless checkout expressly says those charges have been collected.
Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card number.
6. Production, changes and cancellation
Production normally takes 3–5 working days and can begin quickly after an order is placed. Contact The Dealer immediately if you spot a mistake. We will try to make a change or stop the order, but cannot promise this once production has started.
Your statutory cancellation rights are explained in our Refund Policy. The fact that a standard WHITE HOT product is printed after ordering does not, by itself, remove those rights.
7. Delivery
Delivery options, charges and estimates are shown at checkout. Dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date. Please see Delivery & Returns for production windows, tracking, international delivery and missing parcels.
Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a person you identify to receive them. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.
8. Returns, refunds and faulty goods
Our Refund Policy explains cancellations, unwanted returns, faulty goods, refund timing and return costs. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights you have under consumer law.
9. Promotions
Promotional codes must be entered at checkout, have no cash value and cannot normally be applied retrospectively. A promotion may have an expiry date, eligible products, customer limit or other clearly stated conditions. Unless we say otherwise, promotions cannot be combined.
We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an error, fraud or misuse, but this will not affect an order we have already accepted unless the law allows it.
10. Accounts and security
If customer accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity carried out through it. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
11. Intellectual property
The WHITE HOT POKER name, logos, artwork, photographs, product designs, copy and website content belong to us or are used with permission. Buying a product does not transfer any right to reproduce, sell, licence or commercially use that intellectual property.
You may share ordinary photographs of products for personal and social use. You may not copy designs, remove branding to resell items as your own, scrape the website, or use our content commercially without written permission.
12. Our responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
13. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, keep affected customers informed and provide any cancellation or refund rights required by law.
14. Personal information and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. Our cookie banner and Cookie Settings control explain the use of non-essential cookies.
15. Complaints
Start with The Dealer for ordinary order issues. If the matter needs a formal ruling, email The Floor. We will acknowledge and investigate complaints fairly and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 days, although complex matters can take longer.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain the protection of any mandatory laws that apply where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under consumer law.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders when our products, services or the law change. The terms applying to an order are those made available when the order was placed.
